Clementine 3D Gift Card Holder

Now for my final project for the "Clementine" Swap.  I could choose either a 5x7 car or a 3D object.  Well with the new Artiste Cartridge just begging to be played with I buckled down (after much hair pulling & several practice cuts) I now (with the help of a WONDERFUL how-to-video by fellow CTMH consultant Beverly Tiemann).  am now feeling confidant and ready to share the world of 3D objects contained in the CTMH Artiste Cartridge So, without further delay, here is my 3D Gift Card Holder.  I cut it at 2 3/4" using the "S" & "object" keys.  Cut at this size it is JUST perfect for holding a standard gift card, and it is wide enough that you could add some sort of "filler" and a card that has "to & from" stamped on it with room for journaling.

You can choose this to be the project at YOUR NEXT GATHERING!!!  If you would like to hostess a gathering (and earn FREE CTMH GOODIES) call, text, or email me.

I have never attempted to post a video here but Beverly Tienmann has been generous enough to allow us to share her Video Tutorial - For Artiste How To Know The Size To Cut  I hope you will consider purchasing this awesome new cricut cartridge from ME!  shop here or better yet, call, text or email me to find out how to get it for HALF PRICE.....or maybe even EARN IT FOR FREE!!!!

Still Crazy For Clementine

this is my 3x3 card for the "Clementine" swap

I cut and folded colonial white cardstock, topped it with a square of the blue B&T,  I made the burlap bow by pinching it in the middle and stitching it to hold the center tight.  The bow is held to the card with 3 glue dots and topped with a  stamped button which is from B1408 "Buttons, Bits & Bobs" - the button is also on the new cricut cartridge "Artiste".

Now this is were I got REALLY excited.....the pearl on top.  When I ordered them I was thinking they would go really great with this paper pack even though they are technically listed as a coordinating item for "Dakota".  That didn't stop me, I ordered them in BULK :-)  Well, when my order arrived I discovered that they were VERY WHITE.  I put them away to be used later.  Then today while I was crafting I realized that my first shipment of the new alcohol marker was sitting there UNOPENED!  I started digging, looking for the "champagne" marker.....yep....not in there, so I grabbed the closest match "creme' brulee" and went with the lighter version - Voila' I now have "pearl" colored pearl badge buttons!!!!  You just HAVE to go check out our new alcohol markers.

Crazy for Clementine

the first paper pack from the new fall/winter idea book that got my attention was "Clementine", so much so that I agreed to join a 8 person swap.  I have agreed to make the following:  one 12x12 layout, one - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card,  one 3x3 card , and either a 3d item or a 5x7 card (haven't decided which yet) TIMES EIGHT.

Well, here is the layout:  I am leaving the title off so that others can customize they way they want.  I think for mine I will be adding "CUTE" for the main title and "as a BUTTON" for the subtitle

YES, that is hand stitching ALL the way.  Stitching is fast and easy using the CTMH ruler.  Those little holes along one edge are alignment markers.  ORDER yours today!  If you are interested in having a "Clementine Gathering" email, call or text me!

and here is the 1st card:  it is a "swing card" cut at 5 1/2" from page 52 of the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge

this is the inside shot
and finally, the back side where I just put a "made by" stamp.  Now, time for me to get back to work :-)
